Why I Use Essential Oils
My journey with essential oils began in a very personal way.
In 2004, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I turned to essential oils as a source of comfort and emotional support during a very difficult time. One of the oils I used was Rosemary—ironically, my name. There was something especially meaningful to me about that connection. I found the aroma of Rosemary comforting as I worked through the many emotions that came with a cancer diagnosis.
That experience opened my heart to the incredible world of essential oils and the ways they can become part of our everyday wellness and self-care.
Today, essential oils are an important part of my work as a reflexologist. I love combining the relaxing, grounding experience of reflexology with the beautiful aromas of carefully selected essential oils. For me, it’s about creating an experience that engages more than just the feet—it invites the whole person to slow down, breathe, relax, and reconnect.
I’m passionate about sharing essential oils because they can become a simple and meaningful part of everyday self-care. Whether it’s creating a peaceful atmosphere, supporting relaxation, or incorporating oils into personal wellness routines, I enjoy helping people discover ways to use oils in a thoughtful and intentional way.
I also love teaching others about essential oils. If you’re curious about the oils, how they can be incorporated into your daily life, or simply want to learn more, I’m happy to share what I’ve learned through educational classes and workshops.
Be sure to check my Events schedule from time to time for upcoming essential-oil classes and other opportunities to learn and explore these amazing gifts from nature.
My goal is simple: to help you pause, breathe, restore, and feel more connected to your own well-being—naturally.
